Purchase a Celebration Garden Brick
We are taking orders for bricks to be included in the path of the Celebration Garden at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
This garden provides families the opportunity to commemorate many of life’s benchmark moments with engraved bricks that will be used in the pathway. The bricks can be engraved with three lines of text to mark all of life’s memorable events, such as:
- Welcoming a new child
- Baptism
- Graduation
- Marriage
- Anniversaries
- Remembering a loved one
- Commemorating military service
We can even include a logo on some bricks. Samples of some of the available logos are available with the order forms. Order forms are available in the church office.
Each brick costs $50 and will serve as a lasting tribute to celebrate your family’s memorable moments. Orders are due by August 25th. For more information, contact LaRue Corbin.

Weekly practices for our Handbells and Choir resume on Thursday, August 22 and everyone is invited to join us. No prior music experience is necessary, we’ll teach you what you need to know to help us enhance our Worship Services with music.
Handbells – Thursdays at 5:30 pm
Choir – Thursdays at 6:30 pm
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our Music Director, Laura Bray at LauraB@trinitysouthlake.org.
Summer Schedule for Childen’s & Kids’ Worship

Officer Nominations for the Class of 2023
As a church within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), we follow the Presbyterian pattern of church government which vests governing authority primarily in elected members known as elders. We also elect members to the Office of Deacon whose ministry roll is one of compassion and service. In that pattern, we at Trinity elect members to the offices of Elder and Deacon for three-year terms and are now initiating that annual process by accepting nominations for these offices for the Class of 2023.
Ruling elders and deacons are men and women elected by the congregation from among its members. The nomination and election of ruling elders and deacons shall express the rich diversity of the congregation’s membership and shall guarantee participation and inclusiveness (F-1.0403). Ruling elders and deacons shall be nominated by a committee elected by the congregation, drawn from and representative of its membership. Congregations may provide by their own rule for a congregational nominating committee, provided that the committee shall consist of at least three active members of the congregation, and shall include at least one ruling elder who is currently serving on the session. The pastor shall serve ex officio and without vote. When elections are held, full opportunity shall always be given to the congregation for nomination from the floor of the congregational meeting by any active member of the congregation. A majority of all the active members present and voting shall be required to elect. (Book of Order, G-2.0401)
The Nominating Committee would like members of the Congregation to prayerfully consider nominees for the Office of Elder and Deacon for the Class of 2023. You may download a copy of the nominating form here or pick one up in the church office. Nominations will be accepted by the Committee through August 11.
Register Now for Summer Sports Camps
Our indoor Summer Sports Camps are run by Triumph Sports and are Christ-centered camps that use sports as a means to spread the Gospel. At camp, every child will learn memory verses with stories in the Bible acted out by our staff to keep kids engaged in the material. Some of the stories are Daniel & the Lion’s Den, David & Goliath, Joseph, Noah, and many more. They are fun, engaging, and combined with a memory verse are extremely memorable to the kids.
Camps are for boys and girls ages 5 -12, and run from Monday through Thursday. Each child receives a free t-shirt and all equipment is provided by Triumph Sports.
