Both sermons from this morning’s worship services are now online.
The 9:30 service sermon was our “regularly scheduled” installment of the Superhero Summer series.
The 10:50 service sermon was different, dealing with the horrible news we received this weekend about Jordy. This special sermon, ‘The Resurrection Wept’, is available on the sermons page with the other audio files: SERMONS ONLINE
For any who might not have seen or received the email from Pastor Tim last night, you can find that information in our Trinity Church Family group on Facebook. We communicate these kinds of church news through the E-news email list, so if you didn’t receive one, we apologize and ask you please sign up so we can get future announcement out to you.

The most important thing to have when facing a storm is a strong shelter to keep you safe. Of course, the hardest thing to build in the midst of a storm is a strong shelter… what you need then is to be sheltered by a community of people who know there is someone stronger than the storm, who will hold on to you and keep you safe amidst the flood.
This summer we will learn and grow together to be ‘Strong through the Storm’. We’ll look at both how to understand suffering (theologically), and we’ll look at how we can go through suffering better (practically). Why is there pain and evil in the world? How can we find strength and hope when we struggle? And where is God through it all?
Join us and find out! Summer Nights @ Trinity lecture series will begin Wednesday, June 3rd at the church. Also, be thinking about who you could invite and bring with you.
We need Sunday School teachers!
Summer is coming and we will be looking for some new Sunday School teachers to take over for the summer months.
Without members of our congregation stepping up to fill these roles, we cannot offer this truly important Christian education for the children and youth of our church, so please prayerfully consider how you can serve this summer.
Contact Rachel Peters at rachelp@trinitysouthlake.org or call the church office to volunteer or if you have any questions.
Registration is now open for
Synod Youth Workshop 2015
Sponsored by Synod of the Sun, Sharp Chapel, University of Tulsa
July 20 – July 25, 2015
Workshop Theme:
“Plan for the Future”
… These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect. Hebrews 11:39-40
The Sr. High Youth conference will function through 27 groups of approximately 12 persons each in exploring the theme, building a sense of community, and coming to terms with personal and faith issues. Registrants will also find a sense of unity with the entire group as we gather to celebrate in mission, worship and in recreation. For the Synod Youth Workshop Video, click here.
Please visit the Synod Youth Website for more information.
