With all the different Bible translations, study guides, font sizes, and other choices, it can be hard to select a Bible that’s right for you. Here’s Pastor Tim’s advice on choosing a Bible (or Bibles) to read at home and at church:
Bible Versions (The Ones Pastor Tim Likes):
NIV: One of the most popular modern translations and the one I normally preach fro
ESV: A new translation that’s growing in popularity among evangelical and reformed pastors and churches alike
NASB: A more word-for-word translation (More literal but harder to understand)
NLT: A more thought-for-thought translation (Easier to understand but less literal)
Also Good: NRSV, NIrV (Good for Kids), NKJV, AMP, TNIV
