Who We Are
We exist to make and grow disciples who give their lives to make a difference in the world.
Intentional learning to deepen our faith – We are a church that digs deeper into our faith. We ask hard questions and search for answers, we read widely and study the Scriptures carefully as we strive to grow in our faith and understanding. In a world of shallow Christianity, we strive to go deeper.
Committed relationships to deepen our community – We are a church where ‘everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came’. But more than that we are called to be a community where no one can be anonymous. We truly believe that life is better when we do it together. We were made to interact and grow together.
Active service to deepen our love of neighbor – Our mission as a church is to grow as disciples who make a difference in the world, and more specifically in North East Tarrant County where we live. To this end we are constantly working together to feed the hungry, fix what’s broken, and care for the hurting. We are always looking for ways that we can lend a hand.
Engaging worship to deepen our love of God – We believe that we are made to worship our awesome God. And we do that not just on Sunday mornings but throughout the week. We seek to experience God as we meet with Him.
Our strategy to grow disciples who make a difference is threefold. We worship, learn, and serve together in community.
Worship – We understand that there is not one single approach to worship, so we offer multiple experiences. We welcome all to join us in worshiping our Lord in a style that feels comfortable for you.
9:00 am is our traditional style of worship
11:15 am is our more contemporary style of worship
Learn – Our Learn Ministries continue to evolve to meet the needs of our congregation and surrounding community. Some of our teaching takes the form of traditional Sunday School classes for all ages in addition to mid-week studies. We also enhance our learning through our Growth Groups (small groups) and we offer special lectures and seminars that are open to the public as well.
Serve – Our service extends far beyond the walls of the church. We partner closely with other ministries in North East Tarrant County as we strive to make a difference in our community.
At Trinity, we truly believe we are a family and regularly partake in activities that bring us closer together. Quite often these activities revolve around food, but that’s not very different from how Jesus kept in fellowship with his disciples. We truly enjoy our time together.
Our story began in the summer of 1998 when we started to gather in homes, at picnics, in neighborhoods and in schools. In the beginning, we were just a group of people who loved Jesus, were passionate about our community, and had a heart to establish a community of people dedicated to making a difference in the world.
One trailer, two schools, one charter, and a couple of years later, we completed and moved into our multi-purpose building on Southlake Boulevard. Our vision was not just for worship, but for a focus on missions and outreach.
We’ve made a difference in this world by being committed to and participating in a variety of Missions-focused programs, such as:
- Presbyterian Night Shelter
- Community Storehouse
- Christ’s Haven for Children
- Roanoke Food Pantry
- Operation Christmas Child
- GRACE -Feed Our Kids
- Ronald McDonald House
- SOS Children’s Villages
- Habitat for Humanity
- And several local and international mission trips
We’ve grown disciples through our outreach ministries like Upward, and we’ve grown deeper through our Growth Group ministries and classes.
