Our Story
Our story began in the summer of 1998 when we started to gather in homes, at picnics, in neighborhoods and in schools. In the beginning, we were just a group of people who loved Jesus, were passionate about our community, and had a heart to establish a community of people dedicated to making a difference in the world.
One trailer, two schools, one charter, and a couple of years later, we completed and moved into our multi-purpose building on Southlake Boulevard. Our vision was not just for worship, but for a focus on missions and outreach.
We’ve made a difference in this world by being committed to and participating in a variety of Missions-focused programs, such as:
- Presbyterian Night Shelter
- Community Storehouse
- Christ’s Haven for Children
- Roanoke Food Pantry
- Operation Christmas Child
- GRACE -Feed Our Kids
- Ronald McDonald House
- SOS Children’s Villages
- Habitat for Humanity
- And several local and international mission trips
We’ve grown disciples through our outreach ministries like Upward, and we’ve grown deeper through our Growth Group ministries and classes.
